S-Centre BenešovIt is a sports & relaxation centre in the serene environment at the outskirts of Benešov. It serves the region, companies as well as holiday-makers. Hiking
Hiking trails enable endless walks around the surrounding countryside. The trails, that are very well marked, start in Benešov or in the chateau park and will guide you throughout the surroundings as well as history of the Benešov region.
Cycle Tourism
Lovers of cycle tourism, peaceful environment and clear air visit the area especially in summer. The Benešov region offers a developing network of cycle routes. A slightly hilly terrain will satisfy both recreational and fitness cyclists. You can select a route that would match your physical condition. The whole Benešov region is interspersed with beautiful paths both for beginners and for the advanced cyclists.
Mushroom Picking
The surrounding woods and the chateau parks are literally the paradise for mushroom pickers. Sport Shooting
In Benešov you will find a police shooting range open to the general public, furthermore a favourite clay pigeon shooting range, and last but not least also a pheasantry, which is available only upon booking.
The Věřice Riding Club
is situated about 6 km away from Benešov and offers stabling of horses, horse riding including training, and background for riders, and also holiday stays for children.
Pecínov
Pecínov plays a significant role in the history of horse breeding in our lands, which grew during the Terezian times, especially thanks to the breeding of horses for military needs. There are now 20 Fries horses in Pecínov. The Pecínov Riding Club is managed under the supervision of experienced coaches and has been meeting with success.
Golf
In the close vicinity of the Konopiště Pension there are two beautiful golf courses. The first of them is the Konopiště Golf Resort, offering two master 18 hole courses and one 9 hole course for the general public. The second one is the Štiřín golf course, which offers a 9 hole course.
Water Sports
Besides the ponds in the surrounding countryside and several swimming pools in Benešov, there is a large centre in Měřín with an aqua-centre and the possibility to have a game of tennis, squash, bowling and other sports.
